When The Day Comes

When the day comes, on my graduation day from high school, walking onto the stage to grab my diploma, I'll look out into the crowd at all the families and smile at my proud father sitting next to an empty seat where she was supposed to be, cheering me on.

When the day comes, when I'm sitting at the kitchen table with my father, filling out college applications and debating where is best for me, I'll look over at the empty seat where she was supposed to be, begging me not to leave so far from home.

When the days comes, I'll walk down the isle on the arm of the man that I love, approaching the pastor, I'll glance out into the pews at my family and spot my father in the front row, smile, and notice the empty spot on the pew where she was supposed to be, crying tears of joy.

When the day comes, in the hospital bed, I'll lay ready for my first born to come into the world, having all my friends and family on my left side motivating me to keep going with excitement, as i look over to my right I feel an empty breeze where she was supposed to be, holding my hand and encouraging me.
When the day comes, when we are united again I'll hug her tight and never let go and go off into internal living with her..... RIP  I LOVE YOU MOM
